Sebastian Spence portrays Tim Callahan. In addition to being an aide to a powerful New York State Senator, Tim is the partner of out gay private eye and hero of the series, Donald Strachey. Tim is smart, handsome and loving, and provides an even keel and a sounding board for Donald, who immerses himself deep into his cases and often has trouble separating the personal and the professional sides of his life.
